Guru Purnima, traditionally observed on the full moon of Ashadha, is a ritual of thanks giving to our gurus and to Maharishi Veda Vyasa, the compiler of the Vedas .At Amrita Vidyalayam, this day reminds us that learning extends beyond textbooks—it begins at home with our parents and is enriched in school by our teachers and Amma’s guidance. This Guru Purnima, we at Amrita Vidyalayam came together to offer our deepest gratitude to Amma, our guiding light, whose endless love, compassion, and wisdom shape every student’s journey. As per this sacred tradition, we gathered to express our deep gratitude to all those who guide us on the path of wisdom and inner light. In a touching ceremony, the sacred Padukas of Amma were venerated through Abhisheka, Archana and Arati. Devotional bhajans enhanced the atmosphere of heartfelt devotion. The event concluded with the distribution of prasadam, reinforcing unity, joy, and gratitude within our entire school family.
