We have celebrated Gurupoornima on 16th July with all its austerity as Sanskriti pooja under the auspices of Sampoojya Swamini Bhavyamrita Pranaji, In Charge of mata Amritanandamayi Math Thiruvalla. Gurupaduka Pooja, Mathrupooja , Satsang and Bhajan by our students added more divinity to the function.
As part of our school's cultural and value-based education program, Mathrupooja was celebrated with great devotion and emotion by our students. This unique event provided an opportunity for children to express gratitude, love, and respect towards their mothers through a simple yet deeply meaningful ceremony.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth and reverence as students washed their mothers’ feet, offered flowers, and bowed down in a traditional act of respect symbolizing humility and gratitude. In the absence of mothers, some fathers and grandparents also participated in the event.
Some students were emotional, and many mothers had tears in their eyes witnessing the heartfelt gestures of their children. It was a moment that touched everyone deeply—a beautiful blend of tradition, values, and emotion.
