The spirit of patriotism and national pride resonated throughout Amrita Vidyalayam, Manjeri as Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 15th August 2026. The celebration was graced by Assistant Sub-Inspector Firoz Sir, the esteemed Chief Guest, who unfurled the National Flag, marking the occasion with solemnity and pride.
The day unfolded with a vibrant array of patriotic activities and competitions. Students participated enthusiastically in the House-wise Patriotic Song Competition, filling the campus with melodies of love for the nation, while the little ones from KG to Grade 2 charmed everyone with their creativity and enthusiasm in the Fancy Dress Competition. The Independence Day Quiz further enriched the celebration by inspiring students to explore and deepen their knowledge of India's history and heritage.
The celebration served as a heartfelt reminder of the sacrifices that paved the way for our freedom and inspired young minds to uphold the values of unity, courage, responsibility, and love for the motherland.
