Introduction of JE Vaccination Campaign

As part of the nationwide initiative to protect children from Japanese Encephalitis (JE), our school actively participated in the JE Vaccination Campaign 2025 led by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). This campaign aims to prevent the spread of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES), which mainly affects children below 15 years of age. JE is a serious viral infection with a high fatality rate and long-term neurological complications. As per government guidelines, this preventive step is crucial to ensure the safety of students.
Following the instructions provided, our school organized an awareness session for parents to highlight the importance of the JE vaccine. All necessary arrangements were made in coordination with PCMC medical officers. The vaccination drive was successfully conducted on 17th April 2025 within our school premises. A total of 981 students from Nursery to X , aged between 3 and 15 years, were vaccinated on that day. Our staff and nodal teachers cooperated wholeheartedly to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of the campaign. This initiative marked a significant step toward safeguarding the health of our children and the larger community.
