Our school joyfully celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Dahi-Handi with great devotion and enthusiasm. The program began with a short speech by Arnav Kulkarni of Std. V A, who highlighted the importance of the festival. This was followed by a lively Krishna dance performed by 25 students of Std. VIII, both boys and girls, which beautifully depicted the spirit of Lord Krishna. The most exciting part of the event was the breaking of the Dahi-Handi, carried out by students from Std. VI to X. After this, a vibrant group dance with the participation of nearly 30 students added more charm to the celebration.
Along with these performances, spiritual activities also enriched the occasion. Members of Visvas Charitable Trust organized Vishnu Sahasranamam chanting, where guests Shri Padmanabhan and Smt. Gauri joined the program and led the chanting of Mahamantras, with students following them with devotion. To mark the 750th Suvarnama Utsav of Sant Dnyaneshwar, the soulful ‘Pasaydan’ was also chanted in school. The celebration was a perfect blend of devotion, culture, and joy, making the day memorable for everyone.
