Navaratri was celebrated in our school with profound devotion and enthusiasm over eight days, showcasing the festival's cultural and spiritual significance. A series of well-organized programs highlighted the rich traditions associated with the worship of Goddess Durga and her nine forms.

Key Highlights

- *Inaugural Program*: The celebrations began with a thought-provoking speech on Navaratri's importance and an introduction to the different forms of Devi. Students from Classes 9 and 12 recited stuthi slokas and narration, setting a devotional tone.

- *Devotional Atmosphere*: For the first six days, speeches and sloka recitations continued, fostering an inspiring and spiritually charged ambience.

*Kumari Puja*: On the seventh day, the traditional Kumari Puja was conducted with reverence. Nine students from Pre-KG to Class 2, dressed as the nine forms of Devi, were worshipped as part of the ritual. Prasadam was distributed afterward.

*Book Puja at Brahmastanam*: Students from Classes 1 to 12 placed their books at the Brahmastanam, seeking Goddess Saraswati's blessings for knowledge and wisdom.

- *Cultural Performances*: Students of Classes 5 to 7 showcased vibrant Garba dances, adding to the festive spirit. One performance coincided with the Kumari Puja celebrations.

*Organization*

The Mathematics Department meticulously planned and coordinated the events.

- Teachers from KG to Class 2 played a pivotal role in organizing the Kumari Puja.

*Outcome*

The Navaratri celebrations deepened students’ understanding of India’s cultural heritage, infusing the campus with devotion and joy. The event underscored the school’s commitment to nurturing spiritual awareness and cultural appreciation among students.
