Amrita Vidyalayam, Manjeri celebrated the spirit of Onam with immense joy, colour, and cultural fervour. The entire campus came alive as students from KG to Grade X adorned themselves in traditional Kerala attire, beautifully reflecting the rich cultural heritage and festive spirit of our land.
The celebration unfolded with a vibrant array of cultural programmes and traditional festivities. The grandeur of Mahabali and Pulikkali, the graceful Male Thiruvathira and Mega Thiruvathira, and the much-awaited Mr. Kerala and Miss Kerala competition added charm and splendour to the occasion. The campus was further adorned with exquisite Pookalams, while the House-wise Floral Carpet Competition and House-wise Onam Display brought out the students' creativity, teamwork, and artistic spirit. The rhythmic excitement of Vadamvali, the colourful cultural presentations, and the traditional Onam Sadhya added to the festive grandeur.
The celebration was a beautiful confluence of tradition, creativity, togetherness, and youthful exuberance. It not only provided an opportunity for students to experience the richness of Kerala's cultural heritage but also nurtured values of unity, cooperation, and collective celebration, making the occasion a truly memorable Onam at Amrita Vidyalayam, Manjeri.
