Amrita Vidyalayam, Kanhangad celebrated International Yoga Day with great spirit. The event began with a prayer and a welcome speech by the Head Boy. Br. Vedyavedamrita Chaithanya gave the presidential address, and Dr. Seema G. K (Medical Officer, Govt. Ayurveda Dispensary, Nileshwar) inaugurated the function.

To mark National Doctors’ Day, a special session was conducted with Dr. Ashwati (MBBS) as the guest speaker. She spoke on the importance of health, hygiene, and preventive care, and also shared her experiences as a doctor. The session ended with an engaging Q&A, where students clarified doubts on health and explored medical career paths.

Kindergarten students celebrated Umbrella Day on June 30th with great joy. Dressed in pink and carrying colorful umbrellas, they learned about the monsoon season and shared thoughts on rain and umbrellas.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 was held with great enthusiasm, marking the official induction of our new student leaders. Aswanth (Class 10) and Archana (Class 10) were proudly announced as the Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively.

Students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Kanhangad celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm by planting saplings on campus. Classes 3 to 5 took part in the plantation drive, supported by their teachers and the Principal. The event also featured a skit and a speech on environmental conservation. Younger students contributed with creative posters, making the day a meaningful and inspiring “Green Day” celebration.
