National Handloom Day, 07.08.2024…Celebrating the threads that tell the story of India’s rich heritage… A salute to the hands that weave the soul of our culture… On National Handloom Day, our students visited a weaving unit at Thukalassery, to learn about and appreciate traditional textile weaving techniques.
June 5 is not only a day of commemoration but also a day to remind ourselves of the alarming sense of protection to our students.

India celebrates Independence Day on August 15 every year. On this day, we honour the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. Organizing a flag hoisting activity in schools, spreads the respect for the nation among students. National Anthem and Patriotic song was held after the flag hoisting. In connection with Independence day celebrations following programmes were conducted in school premises, house wise fancy dress competition, house wise patriotic competition, and preparation of notice board with national events and patriotic song & dance.

On July 19th 2024, we observed Gurupoornima in our school. Our Principal Ma'am Bri Samagitamrita Chaithanya led the 'Gurupathuka' from Amma's room to the assembly hall . We were honoured to have Sampoojya Swami Amrita Geethananda Puriji as our guest, who also graced the occasion with a Satsang. Swami Ji explained the significance of Guru Poornima and Guru Pathuka Pooja. Principal Ma'am conducted the Gurupathuka pooja, with students chanting the Ashtothram and the bhajn. The school head boy and head girl assisted in the pooja, which began with meditation. The children also performed Mathru pooja and Pithru pooja with great reverence. All classes were well-organized, and the students conducted the pooja in their respective classrooms.

Protein Day draws public attention and awareness on the health benefits of protein. Protein is a macro nutrient that is essential for the human body. Students and teachers actively participated in the programme with lots of fun and enthusiasm. Students of classes I, II and KG participated in protein rich food fest on 8th August 2024.
