International Tiger Day, observed on July 29 to raises global awareness about tiger conservation and the threats faced by these endangered animals. As a part of International Tiger Day celebration, a house-wise colouring competition was conducted for classes I & II and mask-making competition was conducted for classes V,VI and VII.
KG Reopening Day was held on June 6, 2024, with Mrs. Manju Ramachandran ( Rtd. Principal) as the guest.
Every year, on July 28, people around the world celebrate nature conservation as one of the greatest ways to care for and protect our planet. To create interest in agricultural activities, a plantation drive was organized in the school campus on 28th July 2024 for the students of class VIII.
The Karkidaka Food Fest was celebrated on 27th July 2024. It was a vibrant celebration of traditional Ayurvedic and seasonal foods.
The school reopened on June 5th, with the Principal and Bri. Thanmayamritaji, in charge of the M.A. Math, Mulangadakam joining us.

A workshop series was organized by Amrita Vidyalayam Head Office to enhance the English communication skills of our teachers. Separate sessions were arranged for teachers from North, Central and South Zone Amrita Vidyalayam schools. The workshops were held online in the month of April 2021 by Ms. Amrita Pushpa, who has more than 20 years of experience teaching and training in the US.

An online workshop on Value Based Teaching was held on 29th October 2022. The class was conducted by Mrs. Subhadra, who is a faculty and trainer in Education in Human Values for all Sathya Sai schools, as well as the State Science Coordinator for Sai Vidya Vahini Projects.

Our school celebrated World Environment Day 2024 with an inspiring event featuring Dr. P.S. Easa, Chairman of Aranyakam Nature Foundation, as the Chief Guest. The day included insightful discussions on biodiversity, a pledge by Class XII student Dived Krishna, a skit by Class VIII, and a vibrant dance performance by Classes I and II. Dr. Easa inaugurated a medicinal plants exhibition, distributed saplings, and planted a tree on campus
The 6th standard students enthusiastically participated, bringing traditional, healthy, and nutritious dishes. Under the guidance of Mrs. Remya Sandeep from the Science Department, the students displayed their culinary creations in the biology lab
On the eve of the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Amrita Vidyalayam Mangaluru proudly organized ‘Abhinandanam’ – a heartfelt felicitation program to honor the heroes of the Kargil War. The event paid tribute to three esteemed veterans: Subedar Appu Shetty, PO Sudheer Pai, and Naik Leeladhar, whose bravery and sacrifices during the Kargil War continue to inspire the nation.
