On 8th August, our school proudly observed Quit India Day, commemorating the historic Quit India Movement of 1942, when Mahatma Gandhi gave the clarion call of “Do or Die” to free India from colonial rule. The day reminded everyone of the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters who stood united for the nation’s independence.
The programme began with a solemn morning assembly. Our Principal addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, highlighting the significance of the Quit India Movement, the role of students in nation-building, and the values of courage, unity, and patriotism that we must continue to uphold in our lives.
To make the day more engaging, a House-wise Tableau Competition was organized. Each house depicted important events of the freedom struggle through creative and thought-provoking tableaus.Later, a house-wise chart making competition was conducted. Students prepared colourful and meaningful charts on themes related to the Quit India movement. These charts were later displayed on the school bulletin board. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem
