Sanskrit day was celebrated in our school on 20th August with great enthusiasm. The programmes began with a special morning assembly conducted entirely in Sanskrit. The assembly included prayer, pledge, news reading, question of the day, and thought of the day in Sanskrit.
As part of the assembly activities, a speech highlighting the importance of Sanskrit Day was delivered. A short story in Sanskrit was presented by a student, followed by a melodious Sanskrit song and group songs. A special highlight of the day was the presentation of a portion from the Bhagavad Gita –
Sreekrishna Arjuna Samvadam, which inspired everyone and brought out the richness of the Sanskrit language. The celebration created awareness about the beauty and value of Sanskrit and encouraged students to appreciate and learn the language with interest.
