Our school celebrated the vibrant festival of Onam with great joy and enthusiasm. The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp by our Principal and Vice-Principal Madam, marking an auspicious start to the day. The beautifully decorated pookalam rangoli, a traditional floral design, added charm and colour to the atmosphere. To spread awareness about the festival, Adhira Nair of class IX shared valuable information during the assembly, which helped everyone understand the importance of this harvest festival.
The highlight of the event was a delightful Onam skit and the "Thiruvathirakali" (Kaikottikali), a traditional group dance by our Pre-Primary and Primary students, where they warmly welcomed King Mahabali, the beloved figure of Onam. The story and significance of Onam were also explained beautifully by Shivam Babar of class VIII. To make the celebration even more engaging, a Handwriting Competition was conducted on 3rd September 2025. Students from Std I to IV participated in English, Std V to VII in Marathi, and Std VIII to X in Hindi. The day was filled with cultural richness, festive spirit, and joyful learning.
