Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami with great devotion and festive spirit on September 12, 2025. The celebration began with a vibrant display of cultural programs, in which students from Kindergarten to Class II participated with immense enthusiasm. Dressed beautifully as little Krishnas and Radhas, the children brought the divine charm of the occasion to life. A graceful Dandiya dance performance by the tiny tots added color and joy to the event, while the much-anticipated pot-breaking ceremony (Dahi Handi) recreated the playful and mischievous deeds of Lord Krishna, filling the atmosphere with cheer and excitement. The atrium resonated with devotion, laughter, and celebration as students, teachers, and parents witnessed the programs. The event not only spread happiness but also helped the young learners understand the cultural and spiritual significance of Janmashtami, making it a memorable and enriching experience for all.
