Mahamantra Chanting at Amrita Vidyalayam, Nigdi
On 12 August 2026, members of VISVAS Vishnu Sahasranamam Charitable Trust conducted a Vishnu Sahasranamam chanting session at Amrita Vidyalayam, Nigdi. Following the assembly, the invited guests, Shri Padmanabha and Smt. Gauri, joined the students and led the chanting of the Mahamantras.
The students participated in the chanting with devotion, enthusiasm and reverence, creating an atmosphere of peace and spiritual harmony within the school campus. The collective chanting offered the children an opportunity to experience the beauty of coming together through prayer and devotion.
The programme beautifully reflected the belief that education is most meaningful when it is complemented by values, discipline, spirituality and character building.
Through initiatives such as these, VISVAS continues to inspire young minds to connect with India's rich spiritual heritage while developing qualities that can contribute to a more harmonious and responsible society.
“Science and Spirituality Converge” — the spirit behind such initiatives reminds us that true education encompasses not only knowledge, but also values, inner growth and responsible living.
A Step Towards Holistic Development
The Vishnu Sahasranamam chanting programme at Amrita Vidyalayam, Nigdi, was more than a spiritual activity; it was an enriching experience that encouraged students to discover the power of collective prayer, concentration, devotion and positive values.
The school gratefully acknowledges the efforts of VISVAS in bringing this meaningful initiative to young learners and looks forward to nurturing many more such experiences that contribute to the holistic development of every child.
