The Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in our school were filled with devotion, joy, and creativity. The festivities began with a colouring competition for students from LKG to VII, where 254 children participated enthusiastically. A special group of 158 students from classes VI to X also took part in the Atharvashirsha recitation at the famous Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple on 1st September at 5:00 a.m. Every day all students and staff recited " Atharvashirsha" in school, filling the atmosphere with divine energy. On 28th August, students from Std. VII and VIII presented a graceful dance, while on 30th August, children from Nursery to UKG spread happiness with a sweet singing performance. Various creative activities such as Ganpati making using hibiscus leaves and colouring of Ganpati pictures by Pre-Primary and Primary students added more colour to the celebration.
The grand festivities concluded on 2nd September with the much-awaited Ganesh Visarjan. All teaching and non-teaching staff and students joined the eco-friendly procession, where Ganpati immersion was carried out within the school premises. The joyous atmosphere was heightened with lively beats of Dhol-Tasha and energetic dances by the students. The celebration beautifully combined devotion, culture, and environmental awareness, leaving behind cherished memories for everyone.
