The World AIDS Day program was organized at Amrita Vidyalayam Peroor, Kollam to raise awareness about AIDS and show support for those affected by the disease. The program began with an introductory speech, highlighting the importance of understanding and combating AIDS.
The students took an AIDS Day pledge, committing to treat everyone with love, respect, and dignity, regardless of their HIV status. The students also participated in the Red Ribbon Initiative, wearing red ribbons as a symbol of solidarity with those living with HIV/AIDS.
The program culminated in a candlelight vigil, where students lit candles to show their support and solidarity for people affected by AIDS. The event was a reminder of the importance of empathy, compassion, and action in the fight against AIDS.
