With a deep sense of reverence for nature and a commitment to sustainability, our school celebrated World Environment Day with grandeur and thoughtfulness. The morning began with a serene prayer, invoking the blessings of Mother Earth, followed by an inspiring welcome address that set the tone for the day’s proceedings.

A special highlight of the celebration was an enlightening talk by Acharya Dr. Anandaraj G, Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit, NSS College, Pandalam. In his eloquent oration, he beautifully intertwined ancient wisdom with modern environmental concerns, urging the students to uphold Dharmic values in preserving the sanctity of nature. His words resonated deeply, leaving the audience both informed and inspired.

The event also featured a sapling planting ceremony, symbolising our collective pledge to nurture the planet. Thought-provoking speeches, melodious songs, and a powerful skit on environmental conservation added colour and meaning to the occasion.

Posters, placards, and eco-friendly displays transformed the school campus into a vibrant tribute to nature. The celebration served as a gentle yet powerful reminder that the Earth does not belong to us; we belong to the Earth.
