The World Sanskrit Day celebration, which was originally scheduled to be conducted on 28 August 2026, Friday, was held in our school today with great enthusiasm and participation from the students of Classes V to VIII.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the richness, relevance and importance of the Sanskrit language and its valuable contribution to Indian culture and heritage. A seminar was conducted by a prominent personality, who spoke on the significance of Sanskrit, its historical importance, and its continued relevance in the modern world. The informative session helped the students understand the beauty and uniqueness of Sanskrit and encouraged them to develop greater interest in the language.

Various programmes were organised as part of the celebration. Students enthusiastically participated in Sanskrit recitation, Geetha chanting and speeches. Their confident performances reflected their knowledge and appreciation of the language. Students also wrote and displayed meaningful quotes on Sanskrit Diwas, adding colour and creativity to the celebration.

The programme provided the students with an enriching opportunity to learn about Sanskrit beyond the classroom. It helped foster respect for the language and encouraged students to appreciate India’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage.

The celebration concluded on a positive note, leaving the students inspired to learn, preserve and promote the timeless language of Sanskrit.
