Teaching is nurturing and teachers are facilitators. Teachers are indispensable and no technology can replace a teacher. Teaching has to help each student to excel in seeking knowledge and apply it for constructive purposes. It has to encourage critical and analytical thinking, sensible application and conscious living.  Normally teaching and learning process relay on the interactions between teachers and students, among peer groups and not necessarily to be inside the four walls. Today, our students are overloaded with information. They are perplexed between the right and the wrong. Teachers play a vital role in leading them in the right path and any transformation in the society is possible from the schools alone. 

Our Amrita Vidyalayams are unique in India with a clear vision of fostering quality education, culture of the native, heritage of India and adopt spiritually and technology in shaping our younger generations. I am proud to be the part of Amrita’s missions.
