Students are taught tie-dye techniques, fabric painting, candle making, making key holders, mobile holders, wooden photo frames, quilling and many other handicraft items in the Art N Craft room. Students are also taught painting.

We have a well decorated Play ‘N’ Learn room for Pre Primary children stocked with educational and indoor toys. Here, the children are allowed to engage in mind games freely and simultaneously develop a reading habit.

Children’s Day at our school was a celebration of energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork. The day began with a cheerful assembly highlighting the significance of Children’s Day and encouraging the students to enjoy the event to the fullest.
The sports activities were the highlight of the celebration, with events designed to include all age groups and abilities. From fun games like frog jump, racket and ballon, hurdle lemon-and-spoon races for the class 1-5 students to relay card race, three leg race, slow cycle races for the class 6-10 students, the day was packed with excitement.
The playground buzzed with cheers and laughter as students competed and supported their peers. Teachers also joined the fun, cheering on their students. The event fostered a sense of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
The winners were awarded in a lively prize distribution ceremony. However, the true spirit of the day lay in participation and enjoyment, as every child left with cotton candy, smile, and memories to cherish.
The Children’s Day celebration was a perfect blend of fun, fitness, and festive spirit, reinforcing the importance of staying active and celebrating childhood.

The much-awaited Inter-House Competitions at Amrita Vidyalayam was held on 27th and 28th December 2024, bringing together students from all grades to showcase their talents, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event, designed to foster camaraderie and a healthy spirit of competition, featured a wide array of activities.
The first day was filled with a diverse array of competitions, including Mimicry, Ad Enactment, Storytelling, News Presentation, Shloka Chanting, Elocution, Extempore, Calligraphy, Handwriting, and Tattoo Making. The second day comprised enchanting and soul-stirring singing and dancing competitions which had both solo and group performances.
Highlights of the event:
- Cultural Performances: Each house presented vibrant performances including group dances, skits, and musical ensembles. The audience was captivated by the creativity and effort displayed by the students.
- Quiz and Debate: Academic excellence took centre stage during the quiz and debate competitions, where participants demonstrated their knowledge, quick thinking, and eloquence.
- Art and Creativity: Students from class 1 to 10 showcased their artistic talents through painting, tattoo making, and calligraphy, leaving everyone in awe of their creativity.
Throughout the day, the school campus resonated with cheers and applause as the four houses – Rig Veda, Sam Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda – vied for the coveted championship trophy. Each house demonstrated exceptional teamwork and determination, making it a tough decision for the judges.
Our Principal Ma’am applauded the efforts of all the participants as well as teachers for their dedication in making the event a grand success. The competition was graced by esteemed judges, Mrs. Richa Mishra, a reputed educator of Lucknow, and her daughter Ms. Bhavya Mishra. Their valuable insights and fair judgment encouraged the students to perform well.
The Inter-House Competition not only celebrated the talents of our students, but also instilled a sense of unity and school spirit that will resonate long after the event.
