As part of the Amritavarsham 72 celebrations, our Class XII students undertook a compassionate outreach by visiting the Ashraya Old Age Home on 25th September 2025.
Amrita Vidyalayam Cheruthuruthy celebrated National Colours Day on October 22nd Wednesday.
On August 8, our school observed the Quit India Movement, a key milestone in India’s freedom struggle. The day included a variety of meaningful activities. A beautifully arranged tableau showcased major events of the independence movement.
Our school celebrated Cartoon Day with great enthusiasm, aimed at bringing joy and creativity to our young students. The event was organized for students from KG to Class 2.

National Mathematics Day was celebrated in our school on 22 December to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. As part of the programme, Shruthi Jayakrishnan of Class IX A delivered a speech highlighting the importance of National Mathematics Day and the valuable contributions of Srinivasa Ramanujan. The speech was informative and inspiring.

Amrita Vidyalayam’s Class 6 went on a one-day educational trip to Inchathotty, Bhoothathankettu, Science City (Kottayam), and the Farm Sanctuary, Thiruvankulam, on 10th December 2025. Students enjoyed walking across the Inchathotty suspension bridge and exploring the natural beauty of Bhoothathankettu.

Our school celebrated Gih Jayanthi with great enthusiasm. The program began with a storytelling presentation related to the Bhagavad Gita by Gauri Naveen of Class 3A.

The tour included visits to Bhoothathankettu, Injathotty, Kerala Science City (Kottayam), and Farm Sanctuary (Thiruvankulam). The first destination was Bhoothathankettu, an ascetic and historically significant damsite.

The entire atmosphere of Amrita Nursery transformed into a world of colours, imagination, and fun as the little ones eagerly participated in the celebration. The day was specially planned to nurture creativity, self-expression, and joyful learning among young children.
The students of Class IX went on an exciting and memorable trip to Munnar. The fresh morning breeze and the beautiful hill views made the journey enjoyable.

Young engineers of Grade Five, Amrita Vidyalayam, Kochi, built a robotic car with their next-level Skills in designing, building, and programming. Students learned the basics of robotics through hands-on experimentation, teamwork, and coding in testing the movements, refining the turns, and celebrating each successful run.

A two-day educational tour was organized for the Grade X students to Ooty on [15/11/2025 & 16/11/2025]. A group of 63 students and 5 teachers, accompanied by the Principal, Dr. Manoranjani, visited Ooty in two buses. The students visited the Botanical Garden, which was a delightful experience for them. This was followed by shopping time, where students explored local items, chocolates, and flowers.
