Amrita Vidyalayam, Ernakulam, celebrated Kisan Divas by taking our students on an insightful visit to a farm and a coastal village, where they participated in an aquaculture programme.
Human Rights Day was observed at our school to create awareness about the importance of human rights.
The Annual Day Celebrations of Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba for the academic year 2025–26 were held on 15th December 2025.
The Gita Chanting Challenge was conducted with active participation from students. They learnt and chanted selected Bhagavad Gita slokas along with their meanings.

We celebrated World Yoga Day on June 21. Our Principal and our chief guest inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Our Chief Guest, Dr. Saraswati M, took a class highlighting the importance of yoga in today's world. The students then performed some yoga asanas, showcasing their skills.

Ramayana Month was celebrated in our school with devotion and enthusiasm.Various programs were organized, including Ramayana Parayanam Competition, Quiz, and Megha Ramayana Parayana. Students also presented key characters from the epic through role play, bringing the Ramayana to life. The celebration provided students with an opportunity to connect with our rich cultural heritage and imbibe values of truth, devotion, and righteousness.

As part of the Amrita Art Fest, various off-stage competitions were conducted on 19th July 2025.Events included Essay Writing,Story Writing,and versification in English, Malayalam, and Hindip p for different categories. Drawing events like oil painting, cartooning , watercolour, and crayonp ppainting were also held.

We celebrated Chocolate Day on 7th July. Children wore chocolate-themed costumes and did a fashion show. They also spoke four simple sentences about chocolates. A bulletin board was decorated with the theme of chocolates.Children also shared chocolates with their friends in the classroom.

Pi Day was celebrated in our school to highlight the importance of the mathematical constant π (Pi). Students of Class 9 performed a skit titled " A Day Without Pi ", humorously showcasing the chaos in a world without Pi. It creatively demonstrated its role in daily life and math.

On June 30th, we celebrated Umbrella Day and Pink Day. Students did a fun drill with umbrellas and we decorated the bulletin board with decorated umbrellas. They also wore pink dresses, brought pink items, and shared a few sentences about them. We ended the celebration with a photo session. Thank you!
