Four talented students from Amrita Vidyalayam Ayyanthole * Sooryathej K from Class 8 B * Saarang Bhavish from Class 8 A * Hridhay Ratheesh from Class 8 B * Kartik Sankar* from Class 8 A have been selected to participate in the 21st Sub-Junior National Korfball Championship. The championship, organized by the Tamil Nadu Korfball Association under the aegis of the Korfball Federation of India, will take place at the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research in Chennai from July 24th to 27th, 2025.

The celebration aimed to spark interest in mathematics and highlight the significance of the mathematical constant π (pi). The event featured an engaging speech by Adwika Sreeraj from Class 9B, who discussed the importance and applications of pi. Students also participated in a lively discussion segment where they explored fascinating facts and real-life uses of pi. To add a creative element, some students dressed up as renowned mathematicians, bringing a fun and educational twist to the celebration. The program inspired students to develop a deeper appreciation for mathematics and understand the vital role of pi in various mathematical concepts and applications.

Guru Poornima was celebrated with great devotion at Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba. The Head Boy and Head Girl, along with the Principal and Vice Principal, welcomed the Chief Guest, Swami Amrita Kripanandapuri Ji, with a traditional talam by the girls of Class 5. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Swamiji, followed by a soulful bhajan session led by Swamiji, the music teacher, and the students.
