The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, invoking the divine blessings of Amma, which set a serene and auspicious tone for the grand evening.

The occasion was graced by eminent dignitaries. The Chief Guest, Assistant District Collector Mr. Ravi Meena (IAS), honoured the gathering with his esteemed presence. The Benedictory Address was delivered by SampoojyaSwami Amrita Kripanandapuri, whose words inspired and guided the audience with spiritual wisdom. The event was further enriched by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Dr. Jayan M. Gopinath, Forensic Medicine specialist from AIIMS, New Delhi, and Dr. Rubbayya K. Mohammed (MBBS, MS), our proud alumna, whose achievements continue to inspire the student community.

Fruits and Vegetables Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. The classrooms were transformed into a vibrant market environment, giving children a real-life experience of buying and selling fruits and vegetables.

The little ones came dressed adorably as different fruits and vegetables, wearing colourful cut-outs that added charm and excitement to the celebration. Through role-play activities, children enthusiastically participated as sellers and buyers, learning about various fruits and vegetables, their names, colours, and importance in our daily diet.

As part of the celebration, children actively took part in preparing a fruit salad, which helped them understand healthy eating habits in a fun and engaging way. The activity concluded with everyone happily enjoying the fresh and nutritious fruit salad together.

The celebration was a delightful blend of learning, creativity, and fun, encouraging children to develop healthy food habits from a young age.

World Meditation Day – A Moment of Stillness, A Lifetime of Peace 

In a world that moves at a relentless pace, World Meditation Day serves as a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and reconnect with our inner selves. Amrita Vidyalayam, Palakkad, observed this meaningful day with serenity and purpose, reinforcing the timeless value of mindfulness in shaping balanced and compassionate individuals.

World Meditation Day was observed on the last working day at our school ie, before 20th December. A large number of students actively participated in the meditation session. The practice created an atmosphere of peace and calm, instilling silence, mindfulness, and inner harmony both within the children and across the campus.

Knowledge met excitement and curiosity took center stage at the State Level Quizzing Championship 2.0, a prestigious event organized by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in collaboration with the International Quizzing Association – Asia (IQA Asia). The competition brought together some of the brightest young minds from across the state, making it a true celebration of intellect, awareness, and quick thinking.

Amidst this challenging and dynamic environment, our students, Abhinav Sujith and Dhyan Ravi.P, showcased exceptional talent and presence of mind. Competing against some of the best quizzers, they demonstrated remarkable confidence, sharp recall, and analytical thinking throughout the event.
