Amrita Vidyalayam, Perumbavoor celebrated the end of Ramayana month today with a quiz and a fun dress-up event.
We celebrated our nation’s 79th Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm. The day began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem. Patriotic songs, speeches, and cultural programs reminded everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
Quit India Day is observed on 9th August every year to remember the historic Quit India Movement launched in 1942 during India’s struggle for independence.
Hiroshima Day is observed on August 6th every year to remember the tragic atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, in 1945, during World War II. On this day, the world reflects on the devastating impact of nuclear weapons and the immense loss of innocent lives. Hiroshima Day serves as a powerful reminder of the horrors of war and the urgent need for global peace and nuclear disarmament. Memorial services are held in Hiroshima and across the world, where people pray for the victims and renew their commitment to building a world free from nuclear weapons.
