Today, we celebrated International Yoga Day. Students from different classes participated in yoga asana activities, and our yoga teacher raised awareness about the importance of yoga.
We celebrated Reading Day yesterday with a variety of meaningful activities aimed at fostering a love for reading among students. The event was inaugurated by Prof. E. V. Narayanan, a distinguished academic who declared our school as an 'Akshara Vidyalayam' in our educational district. As part of the celebration, a new programme titled ‘Amritapusthaka Dhara – One Month, One Book’ was launched to encourage consistent reading habits among students. Students actively participated by preparing insightful speeches on the importance of the Day and creatively displaying inspirational quotes by P. N. Panicker, the father of the Library Movement in India.
Today, we celebrated Milk Day with a color code of white. We introduced various milk products, recited rhymes related to milk and cows, and conducted experiments on making curd.
Today we held the reopening ceremony of our Kinder Garten - 'Amtitaksharam'. It was a splendid programme in which we included 'Vidyarambam' ceremony, a presentation, introduction of teachers, giving guidelines to parents, dance programmes of teachers and students of classes 1 and 4. Above all we launched a song specially created for the school reopening by students and teachers.
