The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba on 15th August 2026. The programme began with Flag Hoisting by Principal Mrs. Jisha Vijayan, followed by a Special Assembly.

On Handloom Day, the students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Thalassery, visited the Kerala Handloom Weavers Industrial Co-operative Society, Chombala. The visit provided an enriching opportunity to explore the traditional art of handloom weaving and understand the intricate process involved in creating beautiful fabrics.
