Amrita Vidyalayam Pathanamthitta celebrated World Population Day on July 11, 2025, with great enthusiasm and purpose. The day was dedicated to raising awareness about critical global population issues and their far-reaching effects on development and the environment. As part of the observance, an Inter-House PowerPoint Presentation Competition was organized for students in Grades 9 and 11 on the topic "Population Explosion." The presentations thoughtfully highlighted the official theme for World Population Day 2025: "Empowering Young People to Create the Families They Want in a Fair and Hopeful World. The event aimed to foster awareness among students about the importance of population control and its role in ensuring a sustainable future. By encouraging students to explore real-world challenges, think critically, and present creative solutions, the competition served as a platform for both learning and expression. It was a meaningful experience that inspired a sense of social responsibility and deepened students’ understanding of how population dynamics influence global progress and ecological balance.
We are proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our students in the Kerala Ganitha Sasthra Parishad competitions held in Kottayam. Suryajith S. secured an impressive A Grade in the Maths Talent Scholarship Examination, while Keerthana S. attained 8th place in the Science Talent Search Examination. Abhinav M. A. further distinguished our school by achieving 10th place in the Maths Talent Search Examination. Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, celebrated Doctor’s Day on July 1, 2025, with profound respect and enthusiasm, paying tribute to the dedicated service of doctors in our society. A special assembly was held, featuring an inspiring session by Dr. Sreerag Ashok, a Consultant Psychiatrist at Josco Hospital in Pandalam and a proud alumnus of the school. The program commenced with an introduction highlighting the significance of Doctor’s Day, followed by a warm welcome for the guest speaker. Dr. Sreerag’s motivating talk illuminated the noble and selfless role of doctors, inspiring students to appreciate the medical profession and understand the importance of compassion, dedication, and service to humanity.
