National Unity Day is celebrated on October 31 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as India's Iron Man. We observed this day with various programs. Pathmaja R. Unnithan, a student from class IX, delivered a special speech during the morning assembly. The unity pledge was taken by the school leader, Parameswar Suresh. Additionally, a bulletin board presentation was created, which helps students foster a sense of national pride and unity.

Sports Day is an occasion where pupils, teachers and parents come together for a day of competitive sport. To promote physical fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship among foundation stage we conducted Sports for Tiny Tots LKG to Grade II on 23rd October 2024. Various Events were 50 m race, 100 m race, Basket ball throw, Frog Jump, Hurdles, Shuttle run, Musical Chair, etc. The students showcased excellent teamwork and sportsmanship. It helped to improve physical fitness and coordination. Teachers supported and encouraged participants. Parent’s participation in sports plays a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive environment. The foundation stage sports day was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of competition and physical development among our young students.

The first day of the nine-day-long festival is dedicated to worshipping Goddess Maa Shilaputri. The goddess has been described as the daughter of mountains. The name of the Goddess, Maa Shilaputri, is made of two Sanskrit terms: ‘Shil', which means rock and 'Putri', which means daughter. Our students performed Devi Pooja organised by the cultural committee, the activities bring them into direct contact with their culture.

Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated on October 2nd every year, marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Students of grades I and IV celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and contributed their efforts in spreading the awareness by helping their parents in cleaning the homes and their surroundings and by sending their photos of cleaning activities to their respective class teachers. As a part of Gandhi Jayanti celebration a bulletin board presentation was done by students which showcased Mahatma Gandhiji's life history.

The Science Exhibition held on 19th October 2024 was a remarkable event showcasing the creativity and scientific knowledge of our students. Students from classes V to XII participated in the exhibition. Students displayed a wide range of projects, including working models, still models, experiments, and demonstrations. Topics ranged from renewable energy solutions to advancements in robotics. The Science Exhibition was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of inquiry and collaboration among students. It not only showcased their hard work but also inspired many to explore science further.

World Food Day is an international day celebrated every year worldwide on October 16 to commemorate the date of founding of Central Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in 1945. We celebrated World food day by arranging Master Chef competition house wise held in three categories and a bulletin board presentation was also made showcasing various food items. This event was conducted in our school to generate healthy habit of food and to find out cooking skills of students. It includes healthy snacks & deserts. It ignited a passion for cooking creativity and exploring their talent in front of others.

The day emphasizes the importance of education, youth empowerment, and the need to create a better future through learning.
As part of observing Poverty Eradication Day, Amrita Vidyalayam Pathanamthitta arranged a visit to a foster home on 19th October 2024.
