Our school celebrated National Hindi Diwas on September 11, 2024, to inculcate love for the Hindi language and to understand the significance of celebrating Hindi Diwas. A number of programs were organised to mark this special day. A motivational speech was presented by Hiranmayi M of Class VII. Hindi story was narrated by Akshara J Arun ,Dhwani S Nair of class IV , Sarayu Manoj of Class II and Daksha of Class IV. Hindi Recitation was performed by Geethika R of Class IV and Sreenidhi Shynu of Class II. Children also designed beautiful posters and performed a theme dance regarding Hindi Diwas.

On 27th September 2023, Amma’s Birthday was celebrated at Amritapuri. Representatives from all over the world have gathered at Amritapuri, signifying the message of compassion and unity. At the end Amrita prasadam were distributed.

Onam commemorates the legacy of a life of equality, unity and prosperity. The festival of Onam is dedicated to the King Mahabali, who sacrificed himself along with his kingdom in order to stand true to his words. On 13th September, the celebrations started with the setting up of an attractive floral decoration (pookalam) in the prayer room.

Krishna Janmashtami is a joyful festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, who is believed to be the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Krishna was born on the eighth day (Ashtami) of Krishna Paksha during the Rohini Nakshatra. Krishna Janmashtami is a celebration of life, love, and devotion.

With an objective to reinforce the effects of yellow colour, Pre-KG Wing and KG Section children celebrated 'Popcorn Day' on September 6, 2024. Cooking helps young kids to learn quality of health in the long run and short run. It was a fun filled day for the kids, as they enjoyed as well as learnt how to make popcorn. All the kids and their respective teachers wore yellow-coloured dresses. A short film based on popcorn was shown.

Sports day is an important day which helps every student to indulge in physical activities and sports. Amrita Annual Sports meet was held at EMS Stadium, Kodumon on 7th September 2024. Our School celebrated Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm. Students of classes VI to XII participated in various events such as 4 x 100 m relay, 4 x 400 m relay, long jump, triple jump, shot-put, discus throw and 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m & 1500 m running races. All the students thoroughly enjoyed the day and participated in the items with a lot of happiness.

As a part of World Mosquito Day, a special awareness speech was delivered by our respected vice principal Smt. Sumangala Haridas during the school assembly on 21 August 2024. The speaker highlighted the importance of understanding how mosquitoes spread diseases like malaria, dengue, and zika and explained various preventive measures such as using mosquito nets, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and eliminating stagnant water where mosquitoes breed. The speech emphasized the role everyone can play in controlling mosquito populations and protecting their health. The students from kg to XII took a pledge on the day.

Malayalam New Year, also known as Kollavarsham, marks the beginning of the New Year in the Malayalam calendar. Chingam 1 symbolizes new beginnings with onset of the harvest season, a period of abundance and prosperity for farmers. We celebrated Chingam 1 as Karshikamela, a special speech was conducted in the morning assembly on August 17th. Students of class VI exhibited various types of agricultural products. It was an innovative experience for the children.

India celebrates Independence Day on August 15 every year. On this day, we honour the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. Organizing a flag hoisting activity in schools, spreads the respect for the nation among students. National Anthem and Patriotic song was held after the flag hoisting. In connection with Independence day celebrations following programmes were conducted in school premises, house wise fancy dress competition, house wise patriotic competition, and preparation of notice board with national events and patriotic song & dance.
