World Meditation Day was observed in our institution with the participation of all students and teachers, under the guidance of our respected Principal Swamini Gurupriyamrita Prana .
Our school successfully conducted the 'World Meditation Day' program on December 20th, 2025, as directed by Amma's message. A 30‑minute special meditation session featuring MA‑OM and White Flower Meditation was organized for students and staff.

In order to create awareness about the day, a speech was conducted in the assembly by Sreenanda V M of class XI Science. The speech conveyed the message of the after effects of drug addiction on the individual, their family and society. The way she presented it was also very effective.

A house-wise Tableau competition on the theme Quit India Movement was conducted to Commemorate and educate the children about the Quit India Movement, a pivotal event in India's struggle for independence. Tableaux serve as visual representations, often depicting key moments, figures, and themes of the movement, allowing for a deeper understanding of its significance and impact on India's freedom.

A conversation was conducted by the students of class VIII. In this conversation, the students discuss the significance of National Handloom Day, highlighting its importance in promoting traditional crafts, supporting local artisans, and preserving cultural heritage. They also emphasize the eco-friendly and sustainable nature of handloom products and encourage each other to spread awareness and support the handloom industry.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Chavakkad proudly participated in the Sahodaya Indoor Games held at Sree Gokulam Public School, Pazhuvil, on 09 August 2025. Our talented students, Vaiga Ramesh of Class VII B and Ameya Baiju of Class VIII B, showcased exceptional skill and teamwork in the carrom competition, securing the First Prize. Their remarkable performance and dedication brought glory to the school, making the entire Amrita family proud.

We celebrated World Yoga Day on June 21. Our Principal and our chief guest inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Our Chief Guest, Dr. Saraswati M, took a class highlighting the importance of yoga in today's world. The students then performed some yoga asanas, showcasing their skills.

Ramayana Month was celebrated in our school with devotion and enthusiasm.Various programs were organized, including Ramayana Parayanam Competition, Quiz, and Megha Ramayana Parayana. Students also presented key characters from the epic through role play, bringing the Ramayana to life. The celebration provided students with an opportunity to connect with our rich cultural heritage and imbibe values of truth, devotion, and righteousness.
