The Annual Day Celebrations of Amrita Vidyalayam, Ernakulam, were held on Saturday, 6th December 2025, at 2.00 p.m., in the gracious presence of Sampoojya Swami Poornamritanandapuri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, and the Chief Guest Dr K. S. Radhakrishnan, eminent scholar, writer, philosopher, and politician. The programme was attended by parents, teachers, and students.

The Christmas celebration was held on 23 December 2025 with great joy and enthusiasm. Santa Claus danced with the children and delivered a cheerful Christmas message. Our Academic Coordinator also delivered a meaningful Christmas message.

Our school celebrated World Animal Day to foster empathy and kindness in our students towards animals that selflessly serve us. The event was a delightful experience, especially for our kindergarteners, who enthusiastically wore animal face masks, delivered heartfelt speeches, and engaged in creative role-playing.

Onam celebration was a truly special event, filled with excitement and joy for all. Students from every class participated in a variety of engaging games and activities, spread across different floors of the school and outside in the ground. To add to the excitement, teachers also got to compete in their own set of challenges.

Our school was transformed into a sacred haven as we celebrated the revered Kumari Puja. Nine adorable Kindergarten students, resplendent in traditional attire, ornaments, and ceremonial dress, stole the show. Clad in crowns, tridents, swords, and Veenas, they embodied the divine spirit of Goddess Durga.

Christmas was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. The festivities took place on the school grounds, beginning with a prayer and cake-cutting ceremony. A tableau depicting the Nativity scene followed, featuring Mary, Joseph, infant Jesus, and the Three Wise Men. The program continued with a lively dance performance, which got the entire school involved and dancing along. Santa Claus and angels made special appearances, reminding everyone of the significance of Jesus' birth and sacrifice. The celebration concluded with the children enjoying cake and snacks with their friends, creating unforgettable memories.

The observance of Teacher's Day on September 5th was a resounding success, leaving an imperishable mark on our students. The highlight of the event was when Class VIII students donned the roles of teachers, delivering lessons to their younger peers in Classes I and II. The tiny tots showered them with affection and respect, making the experience truly rewarding. The student-teachers thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to lead classes and later sought blessings from their senior teachers. This unforgettable experience will be etched in their memories forever.
We had a fantastic time celebrating Red Day with our kindergarten students! Both the children and teachers dressed in red attire, creating a visually striking event.
