The academic year 2026-27 commenced with great enthusiasm at Amrita Vidyalayam Tanur. On a pleasant rainy morning, students returned to school with smiling faces and renewed excitement.
The KG Reopening Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm, marking a memorable beginning to the academic year for our little learners. The campus was filled with excitement as the children arrived and were warmly welcomed with colorful balloons.
As part of the World Environment Day celebration, Amrita Vidyalayam, Tanur, organised a variety of meaningful activities to create awareness about environmental protection and sustainable living.
The Kindergarten Section reopened for the new academic year with festivity and energiticly on Friday, 12th June 2026.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Edappally, proudly celebrated World Bicycle Day on June 3, 2025, with enthusiasm and active participation from students. The event aimed to highlight the importance of cycling as a healthy, environment-friendly mode of transport and to promote physical fitness among young learners.
The day commenced with a special Assembly where students shared insightful views on child Labour. Students actively participated in the event and raised awareness about child labour.

Harigovind R Varma, a student from Class XII at Amrita Vidyalayam Edapally, has been selected for the prestigious Prerana Program, an experiential learning initiative organized by the Ministry of Education under the guidance of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In a remarkable achievement, Harigovind is the only boy selected out of 20 students from across Kerala, specifically from the Ernakulam district, to participate in this exclusive program.
