The academic year 2026-27 commenced with great enthusiasm at Amrita Vidyalayam Tanur. On a pleasant rainy morning, students returned to school with smiling faces and renewed excitement.
The KG Reopening Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm, marking a memorable beginning to the academic year for our little learners. The campus was filled with excitement as the children arrived and were warmly welcomed with colorful balloons.
As part of the World Environment Day celebration, Amrita Vidyalayam, Tanur, organised a variety of meaningful activities to create awareness about environmental protection and sustainable living.
The Kindergarten Section reopened for the new academic year with festivity and energiticly on Friday, 12th June 2026.

Inaugurated by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Brahmacharini Rehna, AIMS Kochi, the two-day cultural fiesta was a vibrant stage for dance, music, elocution, recitation, storytelling, fancy dress, and much more!

To commemorate National Handloom Day, our school organized a series of educational and hands-on activities designed to foster appreciation for India’s rich handloom heritage. The celebration aimed to instill cultural awareness and creativity among students, especially focusing on the traditional crafts of Kerala.

Hiroshima Day was observed in our school on August 6, 2025. A poster was prepared with the message '' war can do anything, peace can do the best'' and was sent to all class groups. It emphasized the need to follow the ideas of peace, justice, and cooperation in daily life and in government policies.
