The academic year 2026-27 commenced with great enthusiasm at Amrita Vidyalayam Tanur. On a pleasant rainy morning, students returned to school with smiling faces and renewed excitement.
The KG Reopening Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm, marking a memorable beginning to the academic year for our little learners. The campus was filled with excitement as the children arrived and were warmly welcomed with colorful balloons.
As part of the World Environment Day celebration, Amrita Vidyalayam, Tanur, organised a variety of meaningful activities to create awareness about environmental protection and sustainable living.
The Kindergarten Section reopened for the new academic year with festivity and energiticly on Friday, 12th June 2026.

The Chocolate Day Celebration was a delightful experience for the children. The live cookie-making session, creative activities, and the meaningful talk made the day memorable. National Doctors’ Day was observed in our school on 1st July to highlight the selfless service rendered by doctors to our society. Two of our alumni, Dr. Radhika Sourabh, Head of the Department, Department of Integrative Medicine, AIMS, Kochi, and Dr. Anagha Gopi, who graduated from Government Medical College, Kollam as the College Topper, were honoured in a special function at our school. The guests shared their experiences and motivated the students.

On June 26, 2025, Amrita Vidyalaya Edapally commemorated the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with the theme "Say No to Drugs". As part of the celebrations, two competitions were conducted: poster making and slogan writing. These competitions were held in two categories: Category 1 for classes VI to VIII and Category 2 for classes IX to XII. Several students participated in the competitions, showcasing their creativity and awareness about the issue.

Merit Day was conducted on 12th June to honour our Toppers in class X & XII CBSE Board examination. Inaugurated and blessed by Sampoojya Swami Poornamritananda Puri, who blessed the students with his inspiring and enlightening words. Principal Ma'am felicitated the gathering. There was a presentation on Detailed Result Analysis, followed by the distribution of mementos & certificates. The toppers shared their experiences which was really inspiring for their juniors.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Edappally, observed International Yoga Day on 21st June 2025 at Brahmasthanam Hall through a grand function with AYUDH. The event was inaugurated by Sri P Vimaladithya, IPS, Kochi City. The Function began with a Welcome dance based on Surya Namaskar postures by our students.
