In memory of the legend P. N. Panicker, widely regarded as the Father of the Indian Library Movement, Amrita Vidyalayam Changanassery observed Reading Week from 19th June to 25th June with a variety of enriching activities. The celebration included engaging programmes such as quiz competitions, poster making, article writing, and a museum visit. Students created thoughtful posters on themes like Reading Week and the Library Movement.
Amrita Vidyalayam Changanassery observed Anti-Drug Day on 26th June 2025 with a series of meaningful activities aimed at spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
World Milk Day 2025 was observed at Amrita Vidyalayam Changanassery on 18th June 2025 with great enthusiasm. The cheerful and active participation of our tiny tots from Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG added charm and joy to the celebration. The event highlighted the importance of milk in our daily diet. Through a catchy and fun-filled rhyme, children learned about the goodness of milk and its health benefits. A video presentation captivated the little ones, showcasing milk-giving animals and visuals from dairy farms, helping them connect with the source of this nutritious drink.
At 10:00 a.m., the program commenced with invoking Amma's divine presence. Our respected Principal, Bri. Viswapriyamrita Chaithanya, presided over the function.Yoga Trainer Sri Sumeesh Kumar was the chief guest, who later delivered the Yoga Day message to the students. He highlighted that Yoga is one of the richest traditions of India, and emphasized that while celebrating Yoga, we should feel proud of our cultural heritage. The program concluded at 1:00 p.m. with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra.Following the formal function, students from Classes I to XII showcased their yoga performances.
