In order to commemorate the nation's freedom from British rule in 1947. This day is a reminder of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters anda celebration of India's journey as an independent nation. The flag was hoisted by our Chief guest Brigadier N A Subramanian accompanied by principal, teachers and students. A housewise patriotic song competition was conducted.
In order to create awareness about the day, a speech was conducted in the assembly by Sreenanda V M of class XI Science. The speech conveyed the message of the after effects of drug addiction on the individual, their family and society. The way she presented it was also very effective.
A house-wise Tableau competition on the theme Quit India Movement was conducted to Commemorate and educate the children about the Quit India Movement, a pivotal event in India's struggle for independence. Tableaux serve as visual representations, often depicting key moments, figures, and themes of the movement, allowing for a deeper understanding of its significance and impact on India's freedom.
A conversation was conducted by the students of class VIII. In this conversation, the students discuss the significance of National Handloom Day, highlighting its importance in promoting traditional crafts, supporting local artisans, and preserving cultural heritage. They also emphasize the eco-friendly and sustainable nature of handloom products and encourage each other to spread awareness and support the handloom industry.
