A house-wise poster-making competition was conducted at Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, as part of the observance of the Quit India Movement Day.
The Kindergarten section re-opened for the academic year 2026-27 with great enthusiasm and devotion.The day commenced with a warm welcome to the tiny tots and their parents.
We organized a “Sand Day” event for our KG students ,our young learners, where children engaged in fun-filled sensory and academic activities using sand.
Our school celebrated Vayana Dinam (Reading Day) on June 19 with a vibrant lineup of student-led activities centered on the joy and value of reading.

The tiny tots of Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG at Amrita Vidyalayam, Ottapalam celebrated Umbrella Day with great enthusiasm and colourful excitement. The day started with a lively umbrella drill, where children joyfully walked in lines holding their bright and beautiful umbrellas. The ground came alive with shades of pink, blue, yellow, and green, creating a truly delightful sight.

In Amrita vidyalayam Ottapalam ,the International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June 2025 with various programmes. Dr.N.K.Mohanan,Chief Medical Officer Government Ayurveda Hospital, Ottapalam inaugurated the function. In his inaugural address he emphasized importance of yoga on daily life and also for future. He also talked about “one Earth, One Health “which is the moto of this yoga day. After this, the children from all classes presented different yoga postures with the instruction of our yoga instructor.

National Doctors’ Day was observed in our school on 1st July to highlight the selfless service rendered by doctors to our society. Two of our alumni, Dr. Radhika Sourabh, Head of the Department, Department of Integrative Medicine, AIMS, Kochi, and Dr. Anagha Gopi, who graduated from Government Medical College, Kollam as the College Topper, were honoured in a special function at our school. The guests shared their experiences and motivated the students.
We are extremely proud and honoured to announce that 17 Amrita Vidyalayams across Kerala have been awarded the prestigious EGN Leadership Award 2025 for excellence in the field of education.
On 30/06/25, Monday, Amritavidyalayam Thalassery celebrated Umbrella Day with great joy and a delightful pink theme. The campus bloomed in shades of pink as students and teachers arrived with beautifully decorated umbrellas.

In memory of the legend P. N. Panicker, widely regarded as the Father of the Indian Library Movement, Amrita Vidyalayam Changanassery observed Reading Week from 19th June to 25th June with a variety of enriching activities. The celebration included engaging programmes such as quiz competitions, poster making, article writing, and a museum visit. Students created thoughtful posters on themes like Reading Week and the Library Movement.
It was a fascinating experience when our toddlers displayed themselves with colourful and decorated umbrellas out in the rain on 30th June. Among them, when religious harmony was highlighted ,it became more impressive.Paper crafted umbrellas were made for the kids and the angels showcased it in pink
Umbrella Day was celebrated on 30 th of June with great enthusiasm and creativity . The event was a colourful and fun-filled experience for all the young participants.Students wore pink dresses,adding to the festive atmosphere . They brought umbrellas with various colours and designs .Their assembly was conducted with the beautiful umbrellas .Students also engaged in umbrella-themed craft activities, developing their fine motor skills and artistic skills.A fun and synchronized "Umbrella Drill" was conducted ,promoting teamwork and coordination among the students.The highlight of the event was an energetic and lively "Umbrella Dance "performance by the students, which was indeed a visual treat.The Umbrella Day celebration was a huge success ,filled with laughter, creativity ,and fun.The event provided a platform for our young students to showcase their talents ,creativity and teamwork,making it a memorable experience for all.
