Our School's Annual Sports Day was held on 13th and 14th November at the school grounds.
Amrita Vidyalayam Cheruthuruthy celebrated National Colours Day on October 22nd Wednesday. It was a memorable day for students of KG,1st and 2nd.All the kids were in colourful attire.
An Inter-School Drama Competition was organized under the initiative of Sakal Newspaper in Education (NIE) in collaboration with Madhumandir Trust from 5th to 7th February 2026.

The Unified Council conducted the UIMO Exam in January 2025, and it was a proud moment for our school as 12 students from Standard I to IX received medals and certificates for their excellent performance. Similarly, the NSTSE Exam was conducted in December 2024, where 11 students from Standard I to IX made us proud by winning medals and certificates. These achievements are a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers. Adding to the joy, our beloved Principal Madam was honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation for her valuable contribution towards encouraging academic excellence. The certificate was respectfully handed over to her by Sheeja Miss during the assembly. It was a heartwarming moment filled with pride and gratitude, inspiring everyone to aim higher and do their best.
Aashadhi Ekadashi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at our school. The celebration began with a meaningful speech by Ananya Jadhav from Std. VI, where she spoke about the importance of this holy day. Her words enlightened everyone and set a devotional tone for the event. After the speech, students from classes L.K.G to VIII participated in a colourful palkhi procession. The joyful celebration concluded with a beautiful ringan performance, creating a spiritual atmosphere all around. The event ended on a divine note with a soulful Vitthal Aarti, performed by our respected Principal Madam. It was a truly memorable and devotional day for all.

Our school received the Golden School Award at both the national and state levels for outstanding participation in the Indian Talent Olympiad (Little Champ Olympiad Exam 2024–25), with more than 150 students from the pre-primary section taking part. To refresh and energize the teachers for the new academic year, our school organized a special workshop led by the inspiring Dr. Shaurya Kuttappa. The day began with the lighting of the lamp at the Lotus Feet of Amma, followed by a prayer song that set a serene tone for the sessions ahead. Our respected Principal welcomed the gathering with a heartfelt speech. The workshop was designed around Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle and the Johari Window model—tools that guided teachers through a journey of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal communication. Through engaging group discussions, storytelling, simulations, and self-reflective activities, the sessions encouraged participants to rediscover their strengths, understand their impact on others, and build more effective classroom relationships.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a special yoga session was held in our school for students of classes V to IX. The event aimed to spread awareness about the ancient practice of yoga and its benefits for a healthy and peaceful life. The session began with an inspiring speech by Parthavi Ghadge of Std. IX, highlighting the importance of yoga for physical and mental well-being. A yoga workshop was conducted by all the sports teachers, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations. A warm-up session helped students prepare their bodies for various asanas.

The new academic year at Amrita Vidyalayam began with a serene and uplifting ceremony. Principal Swamini Pavanamritha Prana and Vice Principal Bri. Nischalamritha Chaitanya lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge. The divine presence of Sadguru Shri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi was invoked through the chanting of Ashtottara Shatanamavali, filling the atmosphere with devotion.

Amrita Vidyalayam Pune achieved remarkable success of its H.S.C. Commerce Stream students in the March 2025 exams, with a 100% pass rate. All 60 students who appeared for the exams have successfully passed, reinforcing the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
