The celebration brought together students and teachers in a spirit of unity and love for the nation. Almost all the students participated wholeheartedly, making the occasion truly memorable.

In connection with National Handloom Day, Amrita Vidyalayam, Koyilandy organized a field trip for the students of Classes V A and V B on 7 August 2026. The visit was aimed at helping students understand the importance of India's rich handloom tradition and to provide them with first-hand knowledge of traditional methods of cloth production.
Amrita Vidyalayam, Koyilandy, observed Hiroshima Day with the solemn purpose of reminding students of the devastating consequences of war and reinforcing the universal message that peace is essential for the survival and progress of humanity.
